Our Body always informs us, speaks to us about what’s going on in the moment. I strongly believe in the saying “the Body cant’ lie”.

Most people use their mind as the driver of life. We need our mind to function in life. But there’s a Big but here, it’s not enough to feel whole as a person. You are born with your body, yo have to live with it, it’s time to say hello and invite your new friend, ‘your body’ into your life,

We grow up expressing ourselves by moving about, dancing, not worrying what other people might think. Until we get a bit older and soon become adults, for many people that spontaneous, improvised and expressive part in us is loooooong gone..

We have life experiences, especially the ‘bad’ ones that causes problems, like self-doubt, self esteem is running low. When we experience an upset and feel angry, sad, humiliated, embarrassed, and we’ve learned to keep it in, to not express them, so they get stuck in the body. And years goes by and it’s adding up. So we live with a body with stored supressed emotions.

There are many resons to this, anything like, ‘It’s not ok to express ourselves (especially as women), it could look foolish and embarrassing, ‘and behave yourself, be quiet…

The consequence are high, aches and pains physically, mentally, emotionally and in spirit.

Learning to Improvise your moves helps to create new movements, which means getting away from habitual movements patterns that can cause physical, emotional and mental ‘stiffness’ stress, I as call it getting or feeling stuck.
